I've had the honor of doing several murals over the years, including 5 upon the walls of Berklee College of Music, and several others for corporate headquarters of businesses like Dailybreak.com and HqO.co.
Below you can read a step by step account of my process from consult to completion.
Here is a video tour of my latest work in October 2019.
HOW THEY WORK:
Complementary consultation : Over phone or via email.
Space Assessment : Onsite meeting to photograph your space and for further discussion.
Mockups + Quote: Within a couple business days you will receive my virtual mockups, aka photos of your space superimposed with potential designs, as well as a detailed proposal + quote.
Terms + Agreement: We work together to suss out a project timeline and discuss all logistical concerns (i.e. building access + hours)
Payment: I invoice you for 50% payment up front, and 50% upon completion. I only charge a fee for the estimate/mockups if you decide not to hire me. Once again, the initial phone/email consult is always free of charge.
Execution: I complete your mural within the agreed upon timeframe. I keep you updated on progress + invite your feedback.
Step 1: Free ConsultThis is a vision board I brought to HqO for our in-person meeting where we discussed their company + culture, design ideas + brand identity.
Step 3: MockupsWithin a couple business days you will receive my virtual mockups, aka photos of your space superimposed with potential designs, as well as a detailed proposal + quote.
Step 4: Terms/AgreementWe agree on a design, and discuss all logistical concerns like a timeline + access to the space.
Step 5: PaymentI send you an invoice for 50% upfront and 50% upon completion. (This photo is a behind-the-scenes mockup where I planned the layout of HqO's assets in their city scape, including the Willis Tower in Chicago among others.)
